Field Cottage has four bedrooms sleeping 7 + cot, or up to 9 if the double sofa-bed in the master room is are used for children up to 12 years old.

Ground floor

Utility room

Along with a WC and Butler sink, there is a washing machine, dryer and the central heating boiler. There is a larder for dry food goods and storage for the vacuum cleaner, mop, broom, iron and ironing board.

Sitting room

This large family room contains two two-seater sofas plus three single chairs, free Wi-Fi, flat screen TV (FreeView & FreeSat) and Blu-Ray / DVD player, along with a wood burner stove and a complementary basket of logs. Full instructions are available from the owner if required and further logs can be obtained at cost.

Kitchen / breakfast room

This large well appointed kitchen also serves as a breakfast room with table, chairs and stools. The kitchen has all modern appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, gas hob, electric oven/grill and toaster. Cutlery, oven ware, china and glasses for 10 are all provided.

Dining room

With easy access from the kitchen, the dining room features a large family dining table and chairs, piano, CD music system, variety of childrens games and decorative Suffolk stove.

First floor

With steep narrow stairs from the entrance hall which are unsuitable for the infirm, the landing gives access to:

Bedroom 1 (double) + shower

This master bedroom has a double bed and also a double sofa-bed if required for extra child sleeping accommodation. There is a large clothes-hanging area as well as drawers for storage. There is a tape/CD/clock radio with remote control and books on the shelves at the head of the bed complete with bedside reading lights. This room also has an en-suite shower. Towels are provided. There are views across the second of three paddocks to the front of the property.

Bedroom 2 (twin)

This large room has two single beds. There is a clothes-hanging area as well as drawers for storage, bedside cabinets and reading lights. Towels are provided. This room has views across a re-wilding field and forest to the rear of the property.

Bedroom 3 (double)

This corner room has a double bed and a clothes-hanging area, drawers for storage, bedside cabinets and reading lights. Towels are provided. This room has views on one side across the garden to the stables and on the other, to the field and forest to the rear of the property.

Bedroom 4 (single)

This single room has a clothes-hanging area and drawers for storage, bedside cabinet and reading light. Towels are provided. This room also has views to the second paddock.

Bathroom

This family bathroom has a wash basin, W.C and bath with shower fitted over. There is a shelf unit for light toiletries, a shaving and full-length mirror as well as a towel rail. The bathroom has views across the garden to the stables and the smaller of the three paddocks.

Airing cupboard

Here you will find the timer control for the hot water immersion heater for use during the summer and another for the oil-fired central heating for the colder months. There are also spare blankets if required

Cot & Highchair

The cot is only suitable for babies aged under two. There is no extra charge – No linen for the cot is provided – please bring all that you will require with you. The highchair is also free of charge. Please note that cot and highchairs must be requested in advance.
